Competition Rules
These rules and conditions are a public offer agreement dated 12.05.2025. By paying the participation fee, you automatically accept this agreement.The participant is fully responsible for reading and understanding the rules. We recommend reading this document carefully before sending your application, to avoid misunderstandings on the day of the event.
AWARD SYSTEM
In each category, participants compete for:● 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place● Viewers’ Choice — goes to the participant with the highest score from the audience. Voting happens live during the championship through a special online system.
Special awards for the whole event day:
● Best Exotic Witch — the main award of the festival, chosen by the SHABASH organizers.
● Personal nominations from the judges — selected individually, based on their own criteria (charisma, idea, energy, style, etc.).
GENERAL RULES (Terms and Conditions)
1. PARTICIPANT RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.1. The participant must be at least 18 years old on the day of the performance.1.2. The participant must not have any medical contraindications to sports activities.1.3. The participant must follow all instructions from the organizers and their team, respect the rules, and show respect to the organizers, judges, and other participants.1.4. The participant has the right to refuse to perform at any moment.1.5. It is forbidden to take part in the championship under the influence of drugs or alcohol.1.6. The participant must come on stage according to the schedule and order set by the organizers. Missing your turn or being late (for any reason) and causing a delay in the show will be considered a refusal to perform and will lead to disqualification.1.7. To enter the final round, the participant must submit a video application in the correct category. If the performance does not match the chosen category or includes forbidden elements, penalties will apply.1.8. The participant must pay the entry fee and provide all information and materials requested by the organizers on time and in full.1.9. The participant is responsible for their own props: delivery, storage, and setup. Organizers are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items.1.10. The participant agrees to keep all organizational processes, internal communication, program details, and preparation steps confidential.1.11. The participant agrees not to publicly discuss or criticize organizational decisions, especially on social media. Any questions or disagreements must be resolved through official communication with the organizers.1.12. On the day of the event, the participant must have their passport and insurance policy with them.
2. BEHAVIOR AND ETHICS
2.1. Participants must follow basic rules of respect and ethics during all stages of preparation and the event. A professional and friendly atmosphere must be kept between participants and the team.
2.2. All decisions made by the judges and organizers are final and cannot be appealed.
2.3. If a participant shows disrespect, insults the organizers, or shares false or offensive information about the event on social media, they will be removed from the list of performers without a refund and will not be allowed to join future SHABASH events.
2.5. During the performance, it is forbidden to speak to the audience or judges, or to try to involve them in the show.
2.6. Any rude language, insults towards organizers, judges, or other participants, and actions that can cause harm to others are strictly forbidden.
3. GENERAL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
3.1. It is not allowed to use moisturizing lotions, creams, perfumes, or similar products during the day before the event and on the day of the competition.
3.2. You can use any grip products, except wax or resin.
3.3. Maximum performance time is 4 minutes. If you use props or decorations, preparation time before the performance must be up to 2 minutes. Setup and removal must take no more than 1 minute each.
3.4. Minimum number of participants in one category is 5, maximum is 20.
If a category has fewer than 7 participants, there will be only one winner.
4. PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY
4.1. Participation fees are non-refundable, except if the event is canceled by the organizer.
4.2. If the participant does not pass the video selection to the final, the video entry fee is not refunded.
4.3. If the event date is changed due to force majeure (things outside the organizer’s control), the participation fee is automatically moved to the new date. If the participant cannot join on the new date, the fee will not be refunded.
5. RESPONSIBILITY FOR EQUIPMENT AND PROPS
5.1. If the participant or their assistant damages or loses any equipment or property at the venue (including the screen, stage floor, or any installed elements), the participant must pay compensation as set by the venue or the owners of the damaged/lost items.
5.2. During the performance, it is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to touch the screen or the constructions that hold the pole, or to treat any stage elements (pole key, sound monitors, floor covering, etc.) carelessly.
Violation may lead to a fine and disqualification.
5.3. It is forbidden to use small loose materials (like sand or flour), cigarettes, smoke bombs, or live animals.
5.4. It is not allowed to damage the stage or pole in any way, or to drop or throw away the pole key.
Careless behavior or damage to event equipment may result in a fine or disqualification.
6. MEDIA, COPYRIGHT AND BROADCASTING
6.1. Performances must not include any advertising.
6.2. By taking part in the event, the participant automatically agrees that all photo and video materials belong to the organizers and can be used on SHABASH social media pages and YouTube.
6.3. Participant performances will be published on the YouTube channel @shabash.exotic.
6.4. It is strictly forbidden to film with professional photo or video equipment during the event! Filming on a phone is allowed, except when full filming of all performances is done for commercial use. Viewers who film without permission using professional equipment, or film all participants for future commercial use, will be removed from the venue without refund.
6.5. Before, during, and after the event, participants are not allowed to contact technicians, photographers, or camera operators directly.
6.6. A video broadcast of the event will be available for viewers to buy. Copying the broadcast is not allowed! Participants who share copied videos on their pages will not be allowed to join future SHABASH events.
6.7. All content and information on the website are protected by copyright according to the law of Ukraine. Any copying, printing, or sharing of website content is forbidden! Use of any materials without written permission from the owner may lead to legal responsibility according to civil, administrative, or criminal law (Article 51 of the Law of Ukraine on Copyright and Related Rights).
7. ORGANIZERS’ RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
7.1. Judges and organizers have the right to disqualify a participant at any time during the competition if they break the rules. The reasons for disqualification are listed in Section 8 of these Rules.
7.2. Organizers have the right to refuse participation at any stage without explanation and without a refund.
7.3. Entry to the championship will follow all necessary safety measures.
7.4. A standard intro screen with the participant’s number, name, and image will be added to each performance video by default.
7.5. Organizers have the right to change the rules or make decisions not covered in this document.
7.6. Organizers agree to provide:
7.6.1. A properly organized SHABASH Exotic Pole Dance Championship.
7.6.2. Fair and unbiased judging.
7.6.3. Communication with participants on all championship-related questions.
7.6.4. Comfortable and safe conditions for participants, judges, and spectators during the event.
7.6.5. Control of rule compliance by all participants.
7.6.6. A video selection process.
7.6.7. Fast reaction to force majeure situations during the event.
7.6.8. Handling of all organizational tasks on the event day.
7.6.9. Preparation of internal documents such as performance lists, timing, and technical tasks for the team.
In addition to the main responsibilities, the SHABASH team also takes care of:
● Collecting and checking applications, videos, and all required materials from participants.
● Preparing technical lists for the sound engineer, light operator, and other technical staff.
● Creating materials for the livestream and visual support (name screens, synchronization with the host).
● Providing a professional online broadcast.
● Communicating with partners and sponsors, coordinating brand integration into the event space.
● Packing gifts, making diplomas, and preparing awards.
● Designing the event space: photo zones, decorations, and aesthetic details.
● Creating an atmosphere that helps participants fully express themselves on stage.
8. GROUNDS FOR DISQUALIFICATION
8.1. A participant can be disqualified at any time during the competition by decision of the judges or organizers for the following reasons:
– Breaking the video selection rules or general event rules;
– Refusing to follow the organizers’ decision to move to a different category;
– Giving false information about their level or hiding important facts that affect category placement;
– Showing disrespect toward organizers, team members, judges, or other participants, including offensive language or actions;
– Missing their turn or being late for their stage entry (for any reason), if it causes delays in the event schedule;
– Any other actions that, in the opinion of the judges or organizers, go against the rules of the championship.
8.2. The final decision on disqualification is made by the judges or organizers and cannot be appealed.
PARTICIPATION AND VIDEO SELECTION FEES
VIDEO SELECTION FEE*
For the ShowCase category, video selection is free of charge.The participant should immediately fill out the application form and upload a screenshot of this message in the payment confirmation field.
Early registration: from 15.05 to 14.07.2025 (inclusive)550 UAH (approximately €13) — for all other categories

FINAL PARTICIPATION FEE*
The participant must pay the final participation fee within 7 calendar days after receiving the confirmation email. If the payment is not made on time, the participant will be removed from the list of finalists without further notice. By paying the fee, the participant fully agrees to the championship rules.
Early registration:For the ShowCase category — 2500 UAH (approximately €61)For Duets / Groups — 4500 UAH (approximately €110) for up to 3 people,+1200 UAH (approximately €29) for each additional participant over three.For all other categories — 3000 UAH (approximately €73)+500 UAH (approximately €12) for each extra performer (statist) in the Theatre category (this fee applies even if the performer is involved in another performance within the championship).
Late registration:
For the ShowCase category — 3000 UAH (approximately €73)
For Duets / Groups — 5000 UAH (approximately €121) for up to 3 people,
+1500 UAH (approximately €36) for each additional participant over three.
For all other categories — 3500 UAH (approximately €85)
+500 UAH (approximately €12) for each extra performer (statist) in the Theatre category (this fee applies even if the performer is involved in another performance within the championship).
*The participation fee includes: the right to perform on stage (in accordance with the championship rules), stage lighting, judging based on the official score sheet, access to the dressing room, organizational support during the event, prizes for winners, gifts from sponsors, a video from the main camera angle, and access to the professional online broadcast.
In addition, the championship team provides full preparation support: checking all submitted data, communication with participants, preparing internal documents (such as performer lists, schedules, technical tasks), creating materials for broadcasting and visual support (name screens, script for the host), packing gift sets, decorating the venue (including photo zones), coordinating with sponsors, responding to participant requests — and many other processes that ensure a high professional level and unforgettable experience for every participant.
The fee does not include photo sessions or edited performance videos.
**You can separately order a vertical video edit from the main camera and a horizontal edit from two angles.
***Participation fees are non-refundable.
Participants who paid but decided not to perform have the right to a free standing spot in the audience on the day of their category.
APPLICATION AND PAYMENT DEADLINES
Early registration: from 15.05 to 14.07.2025 (inclusive)

Video selection results: 08.09.2025
Final participation fee must be paid within 7 days after receiving the confirmation email.
Finalist form must be completed by 16.11.2025 (inclusive).
VIDEO SELECTION
Video selection is held to fairly and objectively place participants into categories according to their skill level.
Video selection requirements:● The application fee must be paid first, then the “APPLICATION FORM” must be filled out immediately.
● The video should clearly show your current level in exotic pole dance.
● You must include links to your social media profiles in the application. These pages must be open for viewing during the video selection process.
● For the Classic and Experimental categories, the video must match the style of the category.
● For the Theatre category, you must describe the concept of your performance in the application.
● It is not necessary to wear a stage costume or perform the exact routine you are preparing for the championship.
Video requirements for selection:
● Only high-quality online video links from YouTube or Instagram are accepted. Downloadable videos or videos that require access requests will not be reviewed.
● The video must be titled in the following format: Selection/Shabash/your category/stage name or full name.
● Duration: for the Sensual Strip category — from 1 to 1.5 minutes; for all other categories — from 1.5 to 2 minutes. If you use a video from a past performance that is longer than 2 minutes, you must trim it.
● You may submit a video of a performance or a studio rehearsal.
● The video must be recorded no earlier than 6 months before the date of application.
● Costume is up to the participant. Stage outfit is not required.● What the video must include: ✅ Artistry, technique, choreography, and musicality.
✅ Floorwork and pole work (static or spinning).
✅ Dancing directly toward the camera.
✅ The participant must be clearly visible — full body in frame at all times.
✅ Colored lighting is allowed, as long as it does not hide the face, expressions, or artistry.● Do not submit videos that include: ❌ No sound
❌ A mix of multiple video fragments (montage)
❌ Excessive camera movement that makes it hard to watch
❌ Video effects or filters
❌ Cropped body parts (not fully visible)
❌ Other people visible in the frame
Organizers have the right to: • Move the participant to another category if their level does not match the one they applied for. • Reject the application or apply a penalty if it does not meet the requirements.
Video selection results: • Each participant receives scores and comments from the judges — Anka Storm and Laima. • Participants with the highest scores will pass to the final round.

The final decision regarding all penalties is made by the penalty judge and is not subject to discussion or appeal.
EXPLANATION OF JUDGING CRITERIA
Technique● Clean execution — control of the body while performing elements; no unnecessary grips, steps, or accidental movements; smooth pole work; maintaining proper stage angles.● Lines — aesthetic quality of shapes in tricks and choreography.● Pole work / control — ability to perform various movements and combinations on the pole with precision, fluidity, and confidence. Judges assess accuracy, originality, coordination, and smooth execution.● Body control / plasticity — ability to maintain posture and perform movements with precision, flexibility, and expressiveness, according to the style of the routine.● Synchronization (for duets and groups) — coordination and unity between partners’ movements.
Choreography
● Density — number of aesthetically meaningful movements per unit of time, in relation to the rhythm and tempo of the music.
● Amplitude — scale and spatial reach of movements, using flexibility, extension, arms, back, head, hair, etc.
● Coherence / logical transitions — how movements are connected into a composition; their flow, structure, and smoothness.
● Musicality — matching the rhythm, tempo, and accents of the music; accurate timing of movements to musical phrases.
● Expression and emotional interpretation — ability to convey emotions through body movement and interpret the music. Movements should reflect the theme, concept, or idea of the piece and create a connection with the audience.
● Use of stage space — effectiveness in moving across different areas of the stage, including height, depth, width, and perspective..
Artistry
● Overall performance coherence – a harmonious combination of music, costume, and delivery; a clear beginning and ending; consistency in composition.
● Appearance – stage costume, hairstyle, and makeup, matching the music and style of the piece.
● Interaction with props or statists – appropriate use of props and coordination with assistants on stage.
● Emotional immersion / facial expression – the ability to fully live the performance and express emotion through facial expression and inner presence. Judges evaluate depth, sincerity, and authenticity of the emotional delivery.
● Emotion in body / movement – conveying emotion through fluidity, poses, gestures, and physical dynamics, in sync with the music and mood.
● Connection with the audience – visual and energetic contact, the ability to emotionally draw the audience into the story.
● Narrative development – clarity, structure, creativity, and visual readability of the story or concept.
● Original character interpretation – how the performer reimagines a known archetype or character, adding personal vision, emotion, and unique stage delivery.
● Partner interaction (for duets and groups) – synchronized movement, emotional and physical connection, shared dramaturgy, and unified expression. Judges assess how well the performers function as one stage entity.
MUSIC AND VIDEO VISUALS
1. The music must match the image and choreography of the performance.
2. The music must have a clearly defined beginning and ending. A penalty applies for poorly cut tracks or if the choreography ends without matching the music.
3. There are no content (censorship) restrictions. The event is strictly 18+, and we support all forms of creative expression.
4. Russian-language music is prohibited.
[According to the Law of Ukraine №7273-d from 19.06.2022, Russian music is banned from public use.]
5. If two or more participants choose the same music track, it will be assigned to the one who submitted their application first.
6. A screen is installed on stage and may be used by participants for visual accompaniment. 6.1. Using the screen is optional.
6.2. A default intro screen with the participant’s name and category will be added to every video or track. Duration — 5 seconds.
6.3. For participants who do not submit their own video visuals, the championship logo will be shown on the screen during their performance.
6.4. If the participant wants to use the screen, the music and video must be merged into one file with the following specifications:
▪️ Video size: 512 (width) × 416 (height) pixels
▪️ Format: .mov
The file must be uploaded as one file to the finalist Google Form by November 16, 2025 (inclusive).
❗ Organizers and technical staff are not responsible for playback issues if the file does not meet these requirements.
6.5. It is forbidden to include nicknames, logos, or other custom labels in the video.7. Using a track from the “non-recommended music list” will result in a 5-point penalty.8. Total performance time (including intro, max 20 sec): ● Sensual Strip: від 1:30 до 3:00 ● Show Case: від 2:00 до 3:30 ● Beginners | Amateurs: від 2:00 до 3:00 ● Professional | Elite : від 2:00 до 4:00 ● Theatre | Duets/Groups : від 2:30 до 4:00 (Stage setup and takedown must not exceed 1 minute each)
COSTUME, HAIR, MAKEUP, AND APPEARANCE
COSTUME1. The participant must wear a clean, well-fitting costume.
2. The costume must not contain any advertising.
3. The costume must be stage-appropriate and reflect the mood of the performance and music.
4. The costume must fully cover all intimate body parts and must not expose them during movement.
5. Removing costume elements is allowed if required by the performance, as long as intimate parts remain covered.
6. Pasties (nipple covers) are allowed.
7. Specialized footwear is required — heels (pleasers) no lower than 3 inches. Performing barefoot is not allowed.
8. A penalty will be given for a non-stage look (training outfit, training kneepads, no makeup or hairstyle).
HAIR, MAKEUP, AND APPEARANCE1. Hair must be neatly styled or tied up.
2. Headpieces and hair accessories are allowed.
3. Stage makeup is mandatory.
4. Manicure and pedicure must be clean and match the overall look.
