    ✅LED Screen 6 x 4m, P6.67mm, 864 x 576 pixels, 60Hz, which can be used during the performance. The music and video track must be merged into one file.   • MAIN PROVISIONS

    1. The participant must be at least 18 years old at the time of the performance.2. The participant should not have any medical contraindications for engaging in sports.3. The participant must comply with the organizers' requirements and follow the rules and regulations during the competition, as well as treat the organizers, judges, and other participants with respect.4. The participant has the right to withdraw from the performance at any time.5. The participant is prohibited from being under the influence of narcotics or alcohol during the championship.6. The participant is obligated to perform on stage according to the order and timing specified by the organizers. Skipping one's turn or delayed appearance on stage (for any reason) causing a delay in the event's program will be considered as withdrawal from the performance and may lead to disqualification.7. Judges and organizers reserve the right to disqualify a participant who violates the rules at any moment during the competition.8. The decisions of judges and organizers are final and cannot be appealed.9. To qualify for the championship final, the participant must submit an application for the video selection in the appropriate category according to their level. In case of non-compliance of the performance with the declared category and the execution of prohibited elements, penalties are provided.10. The participant must pay the entry fee and provide all the information and materials requested by the organizers within the specified deadlines and in full.11. Participation fees are non-refundable, except in cases of event cancellation by the organizer.12. If the participant does not qualify for the festival final, the money for the video selection will not be refunded.13. In case of a date change of the championship due to force majeure circumstances beyond the organizers' control, the participation fee automatically transfers to the new championship date. If the participant cannot participate on the new date, the fee will not be refunded.14. The organizers have the right to make changes to the championship rules and make any decisions that may not be specified in the championship regulations.15. The organizers have the right to refuse participation without the need to explain the reasons.16. Video recordings of the championship participants' performances will be posted on the federation's YouTube channel.16.1 By participating in the championship, the participant automatically agrees that the rights to photos and video materials from the championship belong to the organizers and can be used for UDF SHABASH pages on social media and on the YouTube channel.

    Cost of participation in the categories Beginners, Amateurs, Professional, Elite, Supreme:Video selection - 500 UAHParticipation in the final - 2000 UAH❗️In the Theatre category, each assistant pays an entrance ticket to the championship.
    Cost of participation in the category Duets/Groups:Video selection - 500 UAHParticipation in the final - 3000 UAHIf there are more than 3 participants, each additional one + 900 UAH.

  • APPLICATION SUBMISSION SYSTEM

    1. VIDEO AUDITIONThe video audition is conducted to ensure a fair and accurate categorization of participants based on their level of expertise in exotic dance. Your video submission should reflect your current level of skill in exotics. You may submit a video of your recent performance or choreography, recorded in a dance studio or on stage.If your video is from a stage performance, the dance should correspond to the category you are applying for in the exotic classic and experimental categories. For the exotic theatre category, participants are allowed to perform a routine in any style for the audition. However, participants must provide a detailed description of their planned performance in the application. Please note that the elements of the future routine should not be included in the video audition. The organizers and a specially invited judge will evaluate participants for this category based on both the video and the description of the performance.
    It is not mandatory to wear stage costumes or perform the routine that you plan to present at the championship during the video audition.
    Additionally, you MUST provide links to your social media profiles in the application. Your profiles should be accessible to the organizers during the video audition period.
    Requirements for the video audition:✅ ONLY online video links in high quality are accepted; video files for download will not be considered. If the video needs to be downloaded, it will be of poor quality, without sound, and may be in the form of a montage (several edited parts) - such applications will not be reviewed.✅ The duration of the video audition should be between 1.5 to 2 minutes.✅ The video audition must not have been recorded more than six months before submitting the application.✅ The video should showcase musicality, floorwork, pole work (static or dynamic), and correspond to the dance style of the chosen category.✅ For duets, a video demonstrating work as a pair must be provided. For groups, this can be a performance video or a recording from a live event. Sending videos from previous performances is allowed if the group lineup planned for the championship remains unchanged. If you have not performed as a group before, you can submit individual videos of each group member's solo performance.

    The video selection will be conducted according to special protocols. Participants of the "Ukrainian Dance Federation SHABASH" will receive an additional +5 points to their overall score for the selection! In the event that a participant and a non-federation participant achieve the same number of points, preference will be given to the federation participant.
    Organizers have the right to transfer a participant to another category if their level does not correspond to the declared category. Organizers have the right to reject a participant's application if the video does not meet the audition requirements or if the application was submitted with rule violations.
    After the video audition is completed, its results will be published on the website, and confirmation letters will be sent to the finalists.

    Registration is done and payment is made on the website after clicking the "SUBMIT APPLICATION" button.Registration deadlinesWithin a week after the registration deadline, the video selection process will take place. After the selection, participants will receive emails containing the results.(In case the participant did not qualify for the festival's final, the money for the video selection will not be refunded.)
    2. PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEE (Finalist Participation Payment and Reservation Period: October 2nd - October 15th, 2023)To secure your spot in the category, you must make the payment within 14 days after confirmation of your participation by the organizers. You can make the payment online on the website or through the provided payment details that will be sent to your email along with the participation confirmation. After making the payment, please send the receipt or a screenshot of the payment confirmation as a reply to the received email.
    The organizer reserves the right to refuse participation without providing a reason.

    3. After making the payment, you need to attach the following information to your finalist's Google form(deadline 01.12.2023): - Music for your performance (mp3 format) / video sequence with sound (LED Screen 6 x 4m, P6.67mm, 864 x 576 pixels, 60Hz, which can be used during the performance. The music and video track must be merged into one file. Video codec: h.264 bitrate 50+MB/s, ProRes 422, HAP Q, Cineform 444.) - Starting point or the specific spot where your performance begins. - The mode of the pole at the beginning of your performance (static/dynamic). - For the Theatre category, provide a short description of your performance, an introduction for the host, and whether you plan to use props or involve assistants.Preferences regarding the lighting.
    ❗️❗️❗️ Note that the same music track CANNOT be used by two participants (Section "Music Accompaniment and Video Sequence, point 5"). To secure a track for yourself, write the name and author of the track in the appropriate field of the finalist's form in this format: Last Name/Category/Author and Track Title.
    The minimum number of participants in one category is 5, and the maximum is 15. If there are fewer than 7 participants in a category, there will be only one winner.In the Battle category, the minimum number of participants is 10, and the maximum is 16.

    • Non-stage appearance (wearing strips below the "three", training outfit, training knee pads, untidy appearance, lack of stage makeup, manicure, pedicure) - 10 points;
    • Costume issues (unfastening or falling off of the costume, exposure of intimate body parts) - 5 points;
    • Lines, feet, knees - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Falls - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Slipping - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Wiping hands - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Camera angles - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Desynchronization (for duets and groups) - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Lip-syncing - 5 points;
    • Exceeding the trick limit - 10 points;
    • Forbidden element (for beginners/amateurs categories) - 5 points for each occurrence;
    • Inappropriate category choice - 10 points;
    • Repetition of elements (on the pole or floor) - 0.5 points for each occurrence;
    • Illogical ending of the performance/abruptly cut track - 5 points;
    • Use of disrespectful attitude towards the judges - 10 points;
    • Use of music track from the list of "prohibited tracks" - 5 points.

  • DECODING OF EVALUATION CRITERIA

    Technical CriteriaClean Execution - the level of body control and mastery during the performance of elements; absence of unnecessary grips, steps, or involuntary movements; ease of transitions on and off the pole; adherence to positions and angles.Flexibility - the range of motion, splits, bends, and contortions demonstrated by the performer.Strength/Dynamics - the overall fitness level of the participant; variation in the range of movements; a sense of strength and controlled motion.Lines - the aesthetic quality of choreographic and trick forms.Originality of Tricks and Transitions - the variety of moves on the pole, original entrances and exits into and out of elements, unusual grips, and combinations.Synchronicity - the coordination of movements between two or more performers.Pole Work (Control) - the parameter that evaluates how well the dancer handles the pole, performing various moves, tricks, and combinations with ease and fluidity. It includes the following aspects: - Technical proficiency: proper grip and positioning, precise movements, and control. - Originality: the ability to create unique and impressive transitions using the pole. - Coordination: smooth transitions, coordinated movements, and precise execution, creating seamless transitions and expressive combinations.Body Control CriteriaWhen assessing, judges pay attention to the following aspects:1. Body Alignment: Ensuring that the arms, legs, torso, and head are in proper, balanced, and harmonious positions in line with the dance style.2. Plasticity: Participants should demonstrate the fluidity and suppleness of their body movements. Additionally, they should maintain stability and confidence during complex moves and pushes.
    Choreography CriteriaDensity - the number of aesthetically valuable movements per unit of time in accordance with the rhythm and tempo of the music.
    Amplitude - the utilization of stage space through extension, flexibility, arm movements, back movements, head movements, including hair, etc.
    Coherence/Logical Transitions - the combination of movements in a composition, their integrity, and harmonious transitions between them.
    Musicality - the alignment with the tempo and rhythm of the music, hitting the accents.
    Originality - unconventional transitions, having a distinctive style, using original musical compositions.
    Expressiveness and Emotional Interpretation - the ability to convey emotions through the movements of the body and interpret the music. The dancer's movements should correspond to the theme, concept, or conceptual content of the performance and musical track, as well as convey feelings and establish a connection with the audience.
    Use of Space (Stage) - a criterion that evaluates how effectively dancers use the stage space during the performance. This includes moving to different parts of the stage and using various directions of movement: height, depth, width, and perspective, etc.
    Authenticity/Individuality - having a unique style, unconventional transitions, and how well the dancer naturally fits into this choreography.

    Artistry
    Coherence of Performance - harmonious combination of music, costume, presentation, logical beginning, and ending of the performance, adherence to compositional principles.
    Visual Presentation (Costume, Makeup) - presence of a stage costume, makeup, hairstyles, and their alignment with the music and choreography.
    Interaction with Props/Assistants - appropriateness of props, skill in working with them, and coordination between the performer and assistants.
    Emotional Immersion/Facial Expressions - reflects the dancer's ability to fully immerse themselves in the music, character, and movements to convey emotions to the audience. Evaluation of emotional immersion includes the following aspects:
    - Depth of Emotions: Judges assess how well the dancer can convey the emotional essence of the dance to the audience.
    - Authenticity: Judges evaluate how authentically the dancer expresses emotions, whether it's their own feelings or those of a character.
    - Facial Expressions: This criterion assesses the dancer's ability to use facial expressions to convey emotions, the story, or the character of the dance.
    Emotional Expression/Movement - reflects how effectively the dancer uses their body to express emotions and establish a connection with the audience. Evaluation of emotional expression/movement includes the following aspects:
    - Body Expression and Expressiveness: Judges observe how clearly the dancer conveys various emotions through their movements, gestures, and overall body expressiveness. It may include control over movements, positions, and movements of the arms, legs, torso, and other body parts that help express the emotional content of the dance.
    - Alignment with Music: The dancer should be synchronized with the music, feeling the rhythm, melody, and mood of the composition. Emotional immersion includes the ability to sense and express the nuances of the musical accompaniment through movements.
    Interaction with the Audience - reflects how effectively the dancer communicates with the audience and creates mutual energy.
    Storytelling - reflects how effectively the dancer reveals and conveys the story of their performance. Evaluation of storytelling includes the following aspects:
    - Clarity and Understandability: Judges assess how clearly and understandably the dancer conveys the message, theme, or essential elements of the story through dance. It includes the clarity of motives, messaging, and essential elements of the story.
    - Creativity and Originality: It evaluates how the dancer uses creative approaches, non-standard movements, and original elements to convey the story. This helps make the performance unique and memorable.
    Originality of Ideas and Image - assesses the degree of novelty, non-standard approach, and creativity of the ideas and image used in the dance performance. Judges pay attention to how well the participant goes beyond standard dance concepts and proposes something unique and unpredictable. During the evaluation of "Originality of Ideas," judges focus on innovative approaches to creating a plot, concept, or message through dance. It is essential to transfer unique ideas or themes into movements and emotions that are conveyed to the audience.
    A high score for the "Originality of Ideas and Image" criterion indicates that the participant has successfully created a unique and memorable performance that stands out among other dancers, leaving a lasting impression on the audience and judges.

  • COSTUME

    1. Учасник зобов’язаний виступати в охайному костюмі, який пасує йому за розміром. 2. Костюм не повинен містити рекламу. 3. Костюм повинен бути сценічним, відображати характер виступу та обраної музики. 4. Костюм повинен приховувати всі інтимні частини тіла та не відкривати їх під час руху. 5. Дозволено знімати деталі костюму, якщо цього потребує ваша постановка, за умови, що всі інтимні частини тіла залишаться закритими. 6. Стрінги заборонені. 7. Обов’язкова наявність спеціалізованого взуття - стріпи не нижче “трійки”. Виступати босоніж заборонено. 8. За не сценічний вигляд (тренувальний костюм, тренувальні наколінники, відсутність макіяжу та зачіски) передбачено штрафи.

  • HAIRSTYLE, MAKEUP, APPEARANCE

    1. Hair must be neatly styled or tied up in a hairstyle.
    2. Headpieces and headwear are allowed.
    3. Stage makeup is mandatory.
    4. Manicure and pedicure must be neat and match the overall look.

  • MUSIC ACCOMPANIMENT AND VIDEO SEQUENCE

    1. The musical accompaniment must correspond to the character and choreography.2. The music composition should have a clearly defined beginning and ending. A penalty is applied for illogically cut tracks or when the participant's choreography does not align with the end of the music composition.3. There are no restrictions on the content of the music (censorship). Our event strictly follows an 18+ policy and supports any form of creativity.4. The use of Russian-language tracks for performances is prohibited.[In accordance with the Law of Ukraine No. 7273-d dated 19.06.2022, Russian music is banned for public use.]5. If two or more participants choose the same music composition, it will be assigned to the participant who submitted the application first. To secure a track, attach it to your application or inform the organizers directly in the following format: Last Name/Category/Author and Title of the track.6. There is a screen on the stage that participants can use to support their performance. However, using the screen is not mandatory! For participants who do not send their video sequence to the organizers in advance, the championship logo will be displayed on the screen during their performance.7. Video files must be immediately combined with the music(LED Screen 6 x 4m, P6.67mm, 864 x 576 pixels, 60Hz, which can be used during the performance. The music and video track must be merged into one file. Video codec: h.264 bitrate 50+MB/s, ProRes 422, HAP Q, Cineform 444.) and attached to your Google form as ONE file no later than 01.12.2023. 8. A penalty of 5 points is applied for using a music track from the "not recommended tracks" list.9. Performance duration: - Beginners | Amateurs: from 2:00 to 3:00 - Professional | Elite | Supreme: from 2:30 to 4:00 - Theatre (Amateurs | Professional) | Duets/Groups: from 3:00 to 4:00.

  • ORGANIZERS' RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Organization of the SHABASH Exotic Pole Dance Championship.
    2. Ensuring fair and unbiased judging.
    3. Providing participants with all necessary information related to the championship.
    4. Ensuring comfortable and safe conditions for participants, judges, and spectators during the event.
    5. Ensuring participants' adherence to the rules of the SHABASH Exotic Pole Dance Championship.
    6. Adhering to the event's timing schedule.

  • OTHER PROVISIONS

    1. The use of moisturizing lotions, creams, fragrances, etc. is prohibited 24 hours before and during the competition.2. Participants are allowed to use any means to improve grip on the pole, except for wax or resin.3. Approaching or communicating with spectators and judges during the performance is prohibited, as well as attempting to engage them in the act.4. Any offensive language, insults, or derogatory remarks directed towards organizers, judges, or other participants are strictly prohibited, as well as actions that may endanger the safety of others.5. On the day of the championship, participants must have with them:   - Passport;   - Insurance;6. Entry to the championship will be granted while considering all necessary safety measures.7. Each participant's video will be accompanied by a standard splash screen with the participant's serial number, name, and image by default.
